APPLICATION OF STABILTRAK 101 RESIN IN THE AREA OF THE SCIENTIFIC INSTITUTE IN WARSAW

During the last week of November 2017, as a part of research on the combustibility of Stabiltrak 101, we applied the aforementioned resin on the railway rubble – on the
premises of the Railway Institute in Warsaw. The sustained combustibility test of Stabiltrak 101 material was run in two stages. Firstly, we applied resin to the railway rubble, and then – with the assistance of the Fire Brigade – we made three attempts to set fire to a stabilized crushed stone. All attempts were successful. Stabiltrak 101  resin is flame retardant.

Tests included:

  1. heated steel rod
  2. simultaneously five heated steel rods
  3. spilled fuel (first Laboratory – successfully completed about a month ago)

Open-air tests were preceded by trials that took place in the laboratory – with successful outcome – at the end of October 2017. Below, there are some photos from the course of tests. Full photoreport can be found in the gallery. >>
